They also need to care, passionately, about West St. Paul and how to make this City the best place to be, now and in the future.

Doug Fromm has the experience to do all of these things as your next West St. Paul City Councilmember for Ward 1.

Doug has lived in West St. Paul for 24 years. He and his wife, Julie, have raised their family including 3 children here.  Doug currently works as a senior engineer for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE).

Doug’s Community Service includes:
Volunteering on West St. Paul’s Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee for 6 years
Serving on the West St. Paul Charter Commission, most recently as Chair, for over 10 years 
Election Judge for almost 20 years and Head Election Judge since 2008
Youth Leader, including 15+ years as a Scout Leader
Community Advocate helping residents find support via community and county services
Attending many council meetings, town halls, committee/commission meetings over 20 years. Doug is familiar with how the City Council and Staff work together.
